    GlobDEM50 conversion tool spatial filtering of GlobDEM50-data sets (*.aag). This program eliminates unrealistic slopes in AUSTAL2000 model areas.

    aag_to_a2k.exe

    GlobDEM50 conversion tool Conversion of *.aag files to *.a2k Dateien, which can be directly used by as an input to AUSTAL2000. This program calculates new header co-ordinates xllcorner and yllcorner with respect to the AUSTAL2000 definition. aag_to_a2k can be used totally similiar to the tools aag_to_grd and aag_to_xyz. Please notice: aag_to_a2k can be used only to convert GLOBDEM50 data files with cartesian co-ordinates. If other data files with ASCII Arc Grid Format are converted the result files may contain wrong co-ordinates!

    pkGeoData_dem.exe

    GlobDEM50 conversion tool (by P&K Software für Ingenieure) The tool extracts data from multiple *.aag files of the GlobDEM50 edition of Germany and builds a single *.aag file for a user-defined area. When you start pkGeoData_dem.exe several program files are extracted from an archiv and written to c:\Programs\pkGeoData. There you will find the (German only!) documentation file ““pkGeoData_dem.doc”. Please read this document for further informations. This program has been kindly put to our proposal by the company P&K. If you have any questions please directly contact the program authors!
